Green New Deal For Pacific Northwest Forests

The GND working group is no longer active, but the GND for PNW Forests platform it developed is visionary and inspiring, so we’ve left it up on the site so folks can access and learn about it.. This platform makes clear the role that intact forest ecosystems can play in mitigating the climate crisis while providing millions of good paying jobs and a just transition for frontline and historically marginalized communities. We hope this document can continue to serve as a positive platform for grassroots organizing, a venue for storytelling about green jobs and climate-smart forestry, and a starting-point for making both state level and national policy.
