Green New Deal For Pacific Northwest Forests

The GND working group has spent the past year working hard creating the GND for PNW Forests platform and building support for it. This platform makes clear the role that intact forest ecosystems can play in mitigating the climate crisis while providing millions of good paying jobs and a just transition for frontline and historically marginalized communities. Now we aim to use this document as a positive platform for grassroots organizing, a venue for storytelling about green jobs and climate-smart forestry, and a starting-point for making both state level and national policy.
